Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information is collected when you visit Cassuna US (cassuna.com/us), how it is used, and the choices and rights you have, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws.
1. Who we are
Görres Facility Management GmbH
Gewerbegebiet Zingsheim Süd 39
53947 Nettersheim
Germany
Email: info@cassuna.com
2. Information we collect
Technical data (server logs): IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system, referring page. Used to deliver and protect the website; deleted after 30 days at the latest. Our host is IONOS SE, Montabaur, Germany.
Visitor statistics (Umami): we count page views and clicks on shop links with Umami, which we host ourselves on our own server in Germany. Umami uses no cookies, stores no full IP address and builds no profiles. We only see totals, for example how many visitors came from Instagram.
Email: if you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
We do not collect names, addresses, payment details or account data — you cannot buy anything on Cassuna.
Newsletter (only if you sign up)
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address, the time and IP address of your sign-up and of your confirmation, and the wording of your consent. We only send the newsletter after you have confirmed your address via the link in our email (double opt-in); unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. We use your email address only to send you the newsletter and do not sell or share it. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to info@cassuna.com. If you sign up through a form in our Facebook or Instagram ads, you give your consent there by ticking a required box; that sign-up takes effect immediately, without a separate confirmation email. As a record we store your email address, the time, the wording of your consent and the Meta form and lead IDs, and we send you a welcome email with a one-click unsubscribe link. Meta Platforms passes the data to us via the automation service Make (Celonis, s.r.o., Prague).
3. Affiliate links (Amazon.com)
The “Buy at Amazon” links are affiliate links of the Amazon.com Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, Cassuna earns from qualifying purchases. When you click such a link, you go to Amazon.com; the link contains our partner ID so that Amazon can attribute a purchase to us. Amazon may set cookies on its own website for this. Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for processing on its website. We receive no personal information about you from Amazon — only anonymous sales reports.
4. Country check
To show you the right version of Cassuna (US, UK or Germany), your browser asks our server once per visit which country your connection comes from. Your IP address is compared with a database on our own server and is neither stored nor shared. If you choose a country, we remember it in the cookie cassuna_markt. IP geolocation by DB-IP.
5. Meta Pixel and your right to opt out
We use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit Cassuna US, Meta receives information such as your IP address, browser details, the pages you view and whether you open a product link, and sets cookies (including _fbp, up to 90 days). Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account, so that we can show you Cassuna ads there and measure how our ads perform. Under the CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws this may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: you can opt out at any time with the link of that name in the cookie notice and at the bottom of every page. We then set the cookie cassuna_optout_us and no longer load the Meta Pixel in this browser. We also treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid opt-out. Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
6. Do Not Track
Browsers' Do Not Track signals are not standardised, so we do not respond to them. Use the opt-out link above or Global Privacy Control instead — both stop the Meta Pixel.
7. Videos and social media
Some look pages may embed a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube sets cookies only once you play it. Links to our Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest profiles are plain links — no data is sent to these platforms until you click.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (see section 5). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@cassuna.com; we will verify the request using the information you provide and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.
9. Children
Cassuna is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International processing
We are based in Germany and process data there, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, which offers a high level of protection.
11. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date below.
